AI-Powered Defect Detection

One of the key challenges in bolt inspection is accurately identifying head cracks and six-side head cracks, which are often subtle and irregular. Openex developed a custom AI vision model specifically trained to overcome these detection difficulties. The model learns from large datasets of real defect samples to distinguish complex crack patterns in different lighting and surface conditions.

The AI system operates in real-time, ensuring no impact on production speed while improving detection accuracy and reducing false positives or misses.
